NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL ELECTION FOR THE TOWN OF FLEMING, COLORADO
Town of Fleming's regular Municipal Election scheduled for November 5, 2024, has been cancelled.
As per C.R.S. 31-10-507, if the only matter before the voters is the election of persons to office and if, at the blouse of the business day on the sixty-fourth day before the election, there are not more candidates than offices to be filled at such election, including candidates filing Affidavits of Intent, the clerk, if instructed by resolution of the governing body either before or after such date, shall cancel the election and by resolution declare the candidates elected. In the case of November 5, 2024, Municipal election, the Town clerk received petitions from two (2) people for Council members.
The Fleming Town Council approved Resolution #5-2024 at its regular meeting on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 canceling the Town of Fleming Municipal Election that was scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024 and declaring the following candidates elected:
Milinda McClain Hickey Council Member 4-year term
Kamie Lambrecht Council Member 4-year term
To be appointed Council Member 2-year term
